Tanzanite is only found in Tanzania, making it an increasingly rare gemstone.
Tanzanite is the perfect gemstone to give for those with the December birthstone, or those celebrating a 24th anniversary.
Tanzanite was given to Tanzanian mothers during child birth, due to the belief it would bring a long life to the baby.
