This playful gold plated sterling silver dangle drop pendant features a vivid blue lapis lazuli gemstone suspended from a floral motif of a deep red garnet surrounded by sparkling white topaz gemstones.
An homage to the vibrance of our favourite artist's iconic portraits, famed for their gorgeous colours and floral elements, these earrings exude nature-inspired elegance.
Gemstone Information
Much loved not just in painting and semi-precious jewellery, lapis lazuli has also been used to create ornaments and even decorate ancient Egyptian tombs and statues. Garnet’s name finds its roots in the Greek ‘granatus’ meaning pomegranate, representing both the aesthetic qualities of the fruit’s deep red colour and granular shape of the seeds. Topaz is allochromatic, meaning imperfections and impurities in their structure are the cause of their many respective colours.
